Location & Schedule
- Shift : Hybrid Schedule Monday - Friday
- Locations : Maple Shade NJ, Ft. Worth TX, Bartlett IL
- 8-hour shift between 7am-7pm (flexible)

What will you do?
Develop complete, accurate and up-to-date specifications for up-fit to meet the client’s business applications and needsComplete price quotations on vehicle upfitOffer alternative options based on OEM and supplier limitations, and using Holman preferred vendor partnersResearch and make recommendations to drive savings, safety improvements, improved client work applications, or other benefits to customer specificationsMaintain technical working knowledge of chassis availability, specifications, and model year changesServe as a single point of contact for all vehicle design questionsMaintain knowledge of vendor capabilities, lead times and alternative suppliers; collaborate with Regional Engineering Manager (REM) to support sales effortsCommunicate regularly with sales, customers, engineering, suppliers, operations, scheduling and other departments to understand client needs and ensure operational efficiencyDeliver complete, accurate and orderable quotations (chassis and up-fit) to existing and prospective customersSet pricing for all M&D upfit with input from REM; ensure upfit profitabilityOwn vehicle design and note all parts required; give direction to manufacturing teamIdentify ways to improve client up-fit design for best price, quality, and safetyWhat are we looking for?
6+ years of experience in an automotive or manufacturing environmentExperience reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsExperience managing multiple projects at onceExperience supporting railroad builds preferredBachelor’s degree in engineering, automotive, mathematics or equivalent experience in commercial truck or up-fitting industriesASE training considered a plusStrong computer skills; MS Office; ERP, MRP or BOM management systems a plusWell versed in all types of commercial vehicles and upfits – cab-chassis, SUV, pickups, vans, electric vehiclesFamiliar with upfits – bodies, cranes, hydraulics, van equipment, lightingKnowledge of design trends and market application (energy, pest control, telecommunications, etc.)Knowledge of OEM facilities, transportation systems and limitationsAbility to run a complete RFP comparing multiple OEMs and aligning up-fit accordinglyFor up-fit needs outside Auto Truck capabilities, coordinate and competitively quote multiple vendorsAbility to provide analysis and recommendations for chassis and up-fit solutions including pre-order planning, production capabilities / scheduling, chassis routingWillingness to work cooperatively with others and treat colleagues with respectBenefits

We offer competitive wages commensurate with skills and experience, starting in the range of $56,400.00 - $81,775.00 USD annually for full-time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
