Lead Housekeeper

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Lead Housekeeper for our Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Lead Housekeeper, you will :

• Interact daily with patients, public, and employees to receive and / or provide information, and assist the management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff
• Assist with department QI initiatives
• Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures
• Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies
• Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values
• Provide a clean environment for all patients, public, and employees at Rockville Rehab
• Access the Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy#101-01-180 Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges / transfers, and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures

Qualifications include :

Work Schedule :

Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Job Responsibilities (in order of importance) :

Pay Range : $19.21 - $24.90

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as : United States of America (Non-Exempt)
