Civil Roadway Designer

Join our growing Civil team as a Civil Roadway Designer. In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and / or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply!

Location

This position will be based in our Franklin or Nashville, TN office.

The Impact You Will Have :

• Collect and assimilate data andperform modeling, analysis and / or design calculations of project elements.
• Draw design details under direction of others.
• Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.
• Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.
• Coordinate drafting of an element.
• Perform field or site visits as needed.
• Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards anduse of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.

What We Are Looking For :

The position may include the need to perform Field Inspection and may require travel to project sites.
