Architect System One is partnering with an Architectural firm based out of OKC in search of a Project Architect who supports the design, coordination, and technical documentation of architectural projects from schematic design through construction. This licensed position is ideal for an early-career architect ready to take on greater project responsibility while receiving guidance from senior staff. The role works closely with internal teams, clients, and consultants to ensure projects are well-coordinated, code-compliant, and aligned with client goals, budgets, and schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to grow into increased leadership within the firm. Key Responsibilities Assist with project design from concept through construction documents under the direction of Senior Project Architects and Project Managers. Support daily project coordination, including drawing production, documentation, and detailing. Prepare construction drawings, documents, and specifications using Revit and related design tools. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain design intent and meet project goals. Perform code and product research to support design and technical decisions. Participate in project and coordination meetings, including occasional client presentations. Assist with project schedules, scopes of work, and documentation updates. Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs with oversight from senior staff. Conduct site visits and field observations to help monitor construction progress and quality. Maintain firm standards for design quality, documentation, and client service. Role Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited program. Active architectural license in Oklahoma or eligibility for reciprocity. 2–5 years of professional architectural experience. Experience contributing to the design and documentation of small to mid-size projects. Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and visualization tools (SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, etc.) preferred. Working knowledge of building codes, systems, and construction processes. Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Preferred Skills Experience with educational or public-sector projects. Familiarity with project management or construction administration tools (e.g., ProCore).
