Impact Dojo is a dynamic and innovative company transforming the teaching of martial arts for children and adults. Since our inception in 2015, we have grown tremendously and are looking for passionate individuals to join our dedicated team.

Who We Are Seeking:
We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and energetic black belt instructor who embodies our mission and has a proven track record in managing and supervising youth. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in teaching martial arts, nurturing positive relationships, and prioritizing safety. We particularly seek instructors with expertise in karate or compatible martial arts, passionate about imparting martial arts knowledge to students aged 4 to 18.

Key Qualifications:
To join our team, experience with children (minimum 2 years) in various roles, such as academic or athletic tutoring, camp counseling, or youth volunteering, is essential. Additionally, we require at least 1-5 years of martial arts teaching experience.

Certification and Education:
A teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory, and a bachelor’s degree is also a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
The Martial Arts Educator will supervise students, deliver martial arts instruction, create a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere, and serve as a role model. The following are key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging martial arts instruction for students aged 4-18, catering to varying skill levels.
• Demonstrate techniques and explain principles, providing constructive feedback on students' performances.
• Manage group dynamics, safety, and personal development effectively.
• Ensure a secure learning environment by enforcing rules and teaching safe practices.
• Plan and prepare creative lesson plans daily.
• Utilize strong classroom management skills to foster an inclusive and enjoyable environment.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors and team members.
• Uphold the Impact Dojo Code of Conduct and embody the organization's core values.
• Embrace a fun and engaging teaching style!
