Automotive Design Engineer

We are seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to join our North American Headquarters. This position requires innovation in new product development, incorporating advanced CAD techniques and ensuring effective communication and project coordination. The role offers significant opportunity for growth within a leading name in the automotive R&D sector. Ideal candidates will be proactive, detail-oriented engineers prepared to design and execute complex projects from conception through production.

Salary : $64,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and execution of new product development, involving CAD, CAE, Prototyping, and Testing phases.
• Create and manage 3D math data and 2D drawings for component parts.
• Facilitate effective communication between customers and design teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist in analyzing product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate project objectives, kick-offs, milestone checks, on-time completion, and post-project effectiveness analysis.
• Continuously assess and incorporate feedback to improve design processes and outputs.
