Aspiranet, a leading California-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families, is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Benefits & Leaves Manager with high expertise in Benefits & Leaves / WC / Accommodation to lead our employee benefits and leave administration programs. The Benefits & Leaves Manager of benefits and leaves oversees all aspects of our benefits and leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state (especially California), and local laws. This includes self‑insured health plans, 403(b) education and administration, state and federal accommodations, workers’ compensation, and respective leave types (FMLA, CFRA, PWFA, etc.). You’ll supervise an HR team supporting daily administration and education in these areas, work closely with employees and managers, and liaise with brokers and vendors to maintain high‑quality, cost‑effective programs.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission‑driven environment with hands‑on experience; a plus if you have managed self‑insured health plans, 403(b) administration, and complex leave cases across a large, state‑wide diverse workforce.
