Busy, growing chiropractic wellness center looking for a massage therapist to add to our team. You must be able to work independently, be a self-starter and have good communication and customer service skills. Most importantly, you must have a positive, growth-minded attitude. PT / FT position and employee / independent contractor options available. National certification recommended (NCBTMB).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques based on individual needs and conditions.
• Utilize physiology knowledge and anatomy understanding to provide effective massage therapy treatments.
• Implement acute pain management strategies to alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being.
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a comfortable and positive experience during sessions.
• Apply medical terminology accurately when discussing treatment plans and procedures.
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to address specific areas of pain and tension.
• Provide deep tissue massage for clients seeking relief from chronic muscle tightness.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Collaborate with occupational health professionals to promote wellness in the workplace.
• Maintain a valid Massage Therapy License and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
