Salary : $18.05 - $19.55 Hourly

  • Job Summary :

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential daily living care to residents under supervision, ensuring a comfortable and dignified living environment.

    Essential Functions :

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Adhere to established protocols and care standards.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing and grooming.
  • Ensure cleanliness and comfort by providing fresh linens and making beds.
  • Support residents' nutritional needs by serving meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
  • Perform assigned treatments as directed by the Team Leader in accordance with your scope of practice.
  • Document resident information accurately and report any changes to the Team Leader.
  • Engage in resident care planning actively.
  • Encourage residents' daily activities as per their care plans.
  • Execute lifting and transfer protocols safely, following the Lift Free Program.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.
  • Qualifications :

  • Physical ability to frequently lift and transfer residents weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn throughout an eight-hour shift.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Active listing on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.
  • A passion for working with elderly individuals.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication with residents.
  • Ability to read and write in English to fulfill care plan requirements.
  • Physical Requirements :

    Must be able to remain on feet for an entire shift, performing regular duties that involve bending, twisting, and lifting residents. You may need to assist in emergency situations involving resident transfers. The role requires the ability to handle quick, decisive actions in varied circumstances.
