About The Position
Job Title : NICU RN

Hours per Shift : 12 hours
Experience : Two years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience preferred.
License : Current valid Registered Nurse License.
Certifications : Must-Have :
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college of nursing required.
- Successful completion of annual mandatory education requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support strongly preferred at time of hire, required within three months of hire.
- Neonatal resuscitation within three months of hire required.
Description :
Accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients and families according to the individualized needs of the patient.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients, family members, hospital personnel, and co-workers.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.
Ability to learn, retain, and utilize computer skills that are required for the department and hospital information system.
Certification(s) in area of specialty from National Certification Corporation within one year of eligibility preferred.
Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing within one year of eligibility preferred.
