Location : Outpatient clinic, located next to the main hospital Scheduled hours are 7 : 30-5 : 30 which does leave about 30 minutes at the end of the day for documentation. We have a large therapy department which does allow for therapist collaboration with other therapists. Pay Breakdown :

• Hourly : $49.00 / hr Taxed ($1,960.00 / wk Taxed)
• Per Diem Eligibility : $1,246.00 / wk =
• $3,206.00 / wk Gross Eligibility Job Summary : Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Job Requirements :
• Bachelor Degree : Required
• Master's Degree : Preferred
• Doctorate Degree : Preferred
• Two years' Physical Therapy experience : Preferred Licenses / Certifications :
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice : Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification : Required Essential Functions :
• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Schedule Requirements : Scheduling Type : 4 x 10’s Days will vary depending on the coverage Scheduled hours will be 7 : 30 – 5 : 30 Documentation System : Net Health, Redoc Unit Secretary : Admin Assistants for assistance with insurance coverage, Scheduling associate for scheduling of patients, and registration associate for checking in patients and notifying therapist of their arrival. Patient populations : general outpatient clinic mix, we have local orthopedic team that provides good mix of knees, hips and shoulders. General geriatric population for strengthening, balance, and functional tasks. Very small population of neuro patients. Spanish speaking therapist is always welcomed. Treatment ratio : 1 patient per 1 Therapist, Evaluations and treatments are scheduled for 60 minutes. There are no aides or techs, so part of that time is used for cleaning up between patients and completing documentation. Attire : Therapists are required to wear uniform of Business Casual : Staffed therapists wear maroon tops with dark pants, contracted therapists are not required to wear this color code, however they may if they choose to.
