About The Position

We’re seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians for locum coverage across three community-based hospitals in southeast Ohio : Gallipolis, Jackson, and Meigs . This is an excellent opportunity for MDs or DOs with strong night and weekend availability to earn top rates in a fast-paced, well-supported ED environment.

💼 Position Details :

📍 Locations : Gallipolis, Jackson & Meigs, OH

💰 Rate : $290–$300 / hr

⏳ Start : As soon as credentialed (45–60 days)

⏰ Shifts : 12-hour nights (8p–8a)

📆 Primary need : Nights & weekends only

🩺 Accepted Specialties : Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine

ED Volume : ~20,000 visits annually

ED Beds : 11

Trauma Level : Not designated

ED Admission Rate : 17%

ED Transfer Rate :

Job Requirements

✅ Active Ohio license or IMLC (LOQ required within 3 business days)

✅ Board Certified (ABMS / AOA) in EM, IM, or FM — NO exceptions

✅ COVID-19 Vaccination — Required

✅ BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP — All required

✅ Minimum 2 years recent ED experience — Required

✅ Must be available for nights and weekends

✅ Must be submitted to all 3 locations

✅ Final name clear pending full provider presentation review
