About the Role : The Underground Plumbing Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing technician performance, managing resources and materials, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You’ll partner with leadership to drive results, improve processes, and build a high-performing team that delivers top-quality underground plumbing services to our residential customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day operations of the underground plumbing and sewer & drain teams.
• Ensure technicians are scheduled appropriately based on skill and job requirements.
• Oversee training, coaching, and development of field staff to drive performance in sales, service, and safety.
• Collaborate with service supervisors to evaluate technician capabilities and align them with project needs.
• Monitor and manage labor and material costs to stay within budget and improve operational efficiency.
• Track KPIs and lead weekly performance reviews with the team; coach for continuous improvement.
• Maintain relationships with key partners including realtors, municipal staff, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Order and manage materials, ensure timely deliveries, and confirm inventory readiness after dispatching jobs.
• Partner with dispatch, call center, and sales teams to maximize labor capacity and job efficiency.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and quality service delivery.
• Recruit, retain, and develop top underground plumbing talent.
• Act as a mentor and leader, encouraging professional and personal growth.
