We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Wastewater Technician I for our Manufacturing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Environmental Controls, Sampling, and Testing to join a dynamic and progressive team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and controls.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular sampling and testing of wastewater to monitor its composition and identify any abnormalities or issues.
• Interpret test results and make necessary adjustments to treatment processes to maintain optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, coordinating with other team members and external contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of system operations, testing results, maintenance activities, and other relevant data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of wastewater treatment protocols and procedures.
• Work closely with environmental control teams to ensure the effective implementation of waste management strategies.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to wastewater treatment and environmental control.
