About The Position

Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Shift : Days

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : New graduates are welcome; Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.

License : Must be verified and attached to the application.

Certifications : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Must-Have : Candidates must attach a resume and license verification.

Job Description :

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Support patients in performing activities of daily living to improve their quality of life.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the supervising occupational therapist.
• Ensure a positive and supportive environment for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Perform tasks and care protocols as directed by the therapy team.
• Execute treatment plans tailored to the needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Administer Covid tests 72 hours prior to the start date with results available 48 hours before starting work.
