Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking  a  Mechanical Designer,   to join our Industrial Buildings team. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical systems for industrial Power Distribution Center (PDC) buildings, ensuring solutions are accurate, efficient, safe, and cost-effective. Your work will directly support project schedules, client needs, and regulatory standards. By packaging electrical switchgear and components into turnkey manufactured buildings, the Building Division helps drive revenue growth and differentiates Point Eight Power from competitors.

Schedule :   Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Location :  This position is 100% onsite in Belle Chasse, LA, we do not offer relocation assistance. We are prioritizing local candidates

What You'll Do : Design & Drafting

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for building systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Use CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) to produce 2D / 3D models, schematics, and construction documents.
