Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant
Full-Time – In Office (not a remote position).
Family-Owned Commercial Laundry Equipment Business.
About the Job :
We are seeking a long-term, enthusiastic individual to join our family-owned and operated commercial laundry equipment business. The ideal candidate will provide bookkeeping / accounting support and complete a variety of administrative duties. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and motivated.

- Must have prior bookkeeping / accounting experience for the responsibilities below
Responsibilities (Accounting & Bookkeeping) :
Answer and screen incoming phone calls; take accurate messages.Print, scan, and save documents as needed.Post to the general ledger and A / R sub-ledger all sales, purchases and payroll.Must know how to reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements.Understand and use of QuickBooks to create invoices, receive payments, add new vendors / customers, and process bills.Use EFTPS system for tax payments.Generate reports, analyze data, and make corrections when needed.Work with management and outside CPA firm to provide general ledger and financial statements.Enter in warranty part claims and process credits into QuickBooksExperience / Skills :
Accounting and bookkeeping experience.Experience posting to a general ledger.Familiarity with QuickBooks.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).Intermediate PC skills.Ability to research and find data online.Strong written and verbal English skills.Education :
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree a bonusHours :
Monday – Friday 8 : 30am – 5pm.Weekends : Off.
