Job Title : Maintenance Mechanic

Location : Littleton, NH

Shift : 6 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm M-TH

Reports to : Operations Manager

Job Overview : The maintenance mechanic will fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure maintenance goals are met.
  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on welding robots, CNC machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Contact suppliers to order parts or troubleshoot.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • Produce various electronic reports.
  • Aid in the training of employees.
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by your manager.
  • Obtain and maintain certification for Hazardous Waste Coordination
  • Participate and complete all required safety training.
  • Willing to perform emergency calls during off-shift to ensure production continuity.
  • Willing to cross-train as needed

Qualifications

  • 2 years of mechanical background or related experience
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, numerate, and able to multitask.
  • Computer Literate
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, welding / fabrication, machining, paint, and assembly preferred.
  • Able to travel to Canada for training purposes.
  • Education

  • Technical degree in a related field or several years of comparable shop experience deemed valid by the employer
