This position is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and execution of construction technology and engineering data workflows to support field operations and project delivery. The role focuses on applying established engineering-technology processes, producing accurate project deliverables, and supporting field teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure operational effectiveness.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Supports opportunities for innovation and technology adoption by executing established workflows that improve flied efficiency and data reliability.
- Assist in aligning construction technology tools and platforms in coordination with field operations to ensure systems function as intended.
- Support field-based technology capabilities by preparing, maintaining and validating project data, files, and processes across active operations.
- Provide hands-on technical support to construction and materials operations through the preparation of engineering calculations, analyses, maps, and field-ready deliverables.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of engineering technology procedures and work controlling documents to support consistent processes and best practices.
- Support training efforts for field teams on new technologies and assist with project proposals to facilitate owner acceptance and implementation.
- Apply established best practices across construction operations to support continuous improvement practices.
- Support the evaluation of new construction technologies by assisting with data collection, analysis and documentation.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering required.
Work Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of construction operations experience with a focus on field technology applications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency with all MS Office Products and construction technology software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of construction engineering technology, spatial data workflows, and data-driven analysis methods.
- Ability to support GIS-based mapping, engineering calculations, quality-control analyses, and field-ready deliverables.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, and field teams.
- Demonstrated interest in construction technology, automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. This role may require periodic travel to active project sites (approximately 25% annually).

Base Salary Range:
$83,971.00 - $125,957.00
Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
