Radiation Therapist Job Details

Location : Philadelphia, PA 19104 – Work in University City, a lively neighborhood with excellent dining, arts, and public transportation.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 6 : 00am and 6 : 00pm)

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Duration : 8 hours

Hours per Week : 40

Contract Length : 13 weeks, with potential for extension or temp-to-perm

Employment Type : Local, On-Site

Hourly Pay Rate : $65 / hour

Radiation Therapist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting

Proton Therapy and / or CT / SIMS experience preferred

Current Radiation Therapy Certification and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required

Ability to work across multiple hospital sites in Philadelphia

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

Administer high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients in a hospital environment

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

Participate in training with experienced Radiation Technologists and receive hands-on instruction on advanced equipment

Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with all safety protocols

Adapt to varying schedules and hospital locations as needed
