Surge Director of Recruiting Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies and plans to attract qualified candidates across various channels.
  • Lead a 6-person recruiting team
  • Lead the recruitment team in identifying, sourcing, and screening potential candidates for a wide range of positions within the organization.
  • Maintains and develops attrition plans
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and facilitate the recruitment process from start to finish.
  • Manage and optimize the recruitment process by utilizing effective hiring tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Maintain a strong network of industry professionals and proactively engage with potential candidates through networking events and other avenues.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to actively recruit entry-level talent.
  • Stay updated with the latest recruitment trends, best practices, and industry developments to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires and facilitate their successful integration into the organization.

Surge Director of Recruiting Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in recruitment
  • Proven track record of successful hiring at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Experience in employer branding and talent market analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of recruiters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to optimize the recruitment process.
