Business Development Representative - Recruiting & Staffing Industry

Please Note : Only candidates with 3-5 years of sales experience within the recruiting or staffing industry and proven success selling retained direct hire searches will be considered for this role.

About the Role

Amplify Recruiting is looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for helping businesses solve their hiring challenges through high-quality retained search solutions.

You'll play a key role in driving new business growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients, building trusted partnerships, and collaborating closely with our recruiting team to deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and develop new business : Identify and target prospective clients through outbound calls, networking, and market research.
  • Build and nurture client relationships : Understand client hiring needs, culture, and growth goals to design tailored recruiting strategies.
  • Sell retained direct hire searches : Present Amplify's retained search model as a premium, results-driven solution.
  • Collaborate with recruiters : Partner closely with internal recruiting teams to ensure seamless candidate delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the full sales cycle : Conduct client presentations, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed goals : Consistently meet or surpass individual and team KPIs.
  • Maintain your pipeline : Keep all activities, metrics, and notes up to date in the CRM system.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of sales experience within the recruiting or staffing industry (required)
  • Experience selling retained direct hire searches (required)
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • A self-starter mindset with a passion for growth and results
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
