Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Position Summary
The LCSW at Dedicated Health care provides clinical social work support for individuals with mental health disorders under supervision. The LCSW will conduct assessments, deliver psychotherapy, facilitate groups, and collaborate in treatment planning to promote recovery, wellness, functionality, and community reintegration.
The role supports, person centered care in outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization settings, aligning with the organization’s mission of empowering clients through evidence based behavioral health services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, to identify strengths, needs,
- barriers, and cultural factors impacting treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating SMART
- objectives, and revise plans as needed.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence■based modalities (e.g. CBT, DBT skills
- groups, trauma■informed therapy).
- Facilitate skills restoration / development groups as part of IOP or outpatient program offerings. -
- Support clients in crisis situations, including crisis intervention and stabilization, safety planning. -
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans,
- discharge or transition summaries).
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, medication providers, peer recovery support, and other staff such
- as care coordinators and community support workers.
- Conduct psychoeducation and health literacy sessions, assist clients to understand their mental
- health conditions, medications, coping strategies.
- Assist clients with accessing community resources, social supports, and addressing social
- determinants of health (housing, work, legal, insurance) as part of recovery and reintegration. -
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervision, trainings, quality assurance, and maintain
- compliance with all regulatory / licensing requirements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on SocialWork Education (CSWE).
Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia (or eligible forlicensure).
Experience (preferred) providing mental health services with individuals / adults in settings likeoutpatient therapy, IOP, or other behavioral health programs.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic modalities. -Ability to manage a caseload, adapt to group and individual work, comfortable with crisis intervention.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. - Culturalcompetence; ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Must meet requirements per Dedicated Care center policies : proof of identity, backgroundchecks (FBI, social services), immunizations / vaccines, TB screening, physical clearance, CPR &
First Aid.
Working Conditions
Work hours may include evenings or virtual / telehealth sessions depending on program needs(e.g. IOP, virtual groups).
Work environment includes clinic settings, sometimes community or virtual settings.Occasional travel for community outreach or coordination may be expected.Core Values & Competencies
