This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager (Platform - GenAI) in United States .

As an Engineering Manager in the GenAI Platform team, you will lead a high-performing group focused on building scalable AI infrastructure and productivity solutions that accelerate adoption across the organization. You will drive the architecture, development, and delivery of advanced AI systems, including large language models and agentic AI, while mentoring and coaching your team to foster technical excellence. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, translating vision into actionable plans, and ensuring projects meet objectives on time. You will also be instrumental in shaping AI infrastructure standards, integrating third-party tools, and driving innovation that enhances both customer and team experiences. Accountabilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance AI infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and translate them into actionable quarterly plans.
  • Manage project execution, priorities, and deliverables while leveraging technical expertise.
  • Coach team members on design principles, coding standards, and adoption of AI productivity tools.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues to improve system reliability, scalability, and ease of operation.
  • Review architecture and feature designs to ensure security, scalability, and integrity.
  • Build pipelines to integrate with third-party vendors and streamline workflows.
  • Recruit, train, and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on AI / ML solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in engineering management.
  • Proven track record designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services in a hands-on capacity while leading a team.
  • Experience hiring and developing high-performing teams through sound engineering practices.
  • Strong understanding of high-quality code and software engineering processes, with the ability to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, and MongoDB.
  • Background in AI / LLM infrastructure.
  • Deep customer obsession and focus on delivering value to stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a bias toward open, transparent cultural practices.
