Testing Center Coordinator
Brightpoint Community College invites qualified applicants to apply to the position of Testing Center Coordinator. This role will manage the operations of the Testing Centers located on the Chester and Midlothian campuses of the College. The Coordinator will :
- oversee all operations of the Testing Centers while fostering a welcoming environment for students and faculty and ensuring the highest level of test integrity.
- supervise a team of part-time proctors to ensure compliance with College and Center policies and procedures, maintaining a high level professionalism and test integrity.
- manage the hiring and training of new Testing Center staff.
- maintain the scheduling system for student tests and staff schedules.
- administer and proctor tests including but not limited to course exams, placements tests, CLEP, TEAS, testing for students with approved ADA accommodations.
- serve as the primary contact between the Testing Centers and college faculty and staff to support effective communication and service delivery.
- serve as the contact person between the Testing Centers and external testing organizations and software companies, such as Pearson VUE, Register Blast, and College Board.
- compile data and prepare reports regarding utilization of the Testing Centers.
The successful candidate will have experience working with students in a higher education environment. They must have excellent communication, computer, and customer service skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and occasionally stressful environment. Applicants must also have the ability to work a flexible schedule at either the Chester or Midlothian campus and perform related duties as assigned. Successful completion and passing of a background check are required for employment.
Minimum Qualifications :
Must have excellent computer, oral, and written communication skills, including proficiency with VPT, Accuplacer, CLEP, Pearson VUE, TEAS, Navigate, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office.Must be available to work at either college campus as needed.Must be highly organized, dependable, and able to function effectively as a member of a team.Must also be able to coordinate the work of others and efficiently plan a variety of work schedules.Additional Considerations :
