We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Duck Creek Village, UT for 6 hours a week.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. This is a great opportunity to earn a supplemental income!

Successful hires earn a bonus of $1000 after 90 days of employment!

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care.
  • Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN / the care team and documents pertinent information.
  • Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake.
  • Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients / clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees.
  • Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies.
  • Completes yearly education hours.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • TB test & physical examination
  • Ability to monitor vital signs
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients
  • Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • 1+year of caregiving experience
  • $18 / hr

    $1000 engagement bonus!

    The engagement bonus is eligible for payment following 90 days of service to your patient(s) and the Company.
