Position Summary
The Mold Technician plays a vital role in environmental testing, remediation, and asbestos abatement. This position involves conducting inspections, collecting samples, operating monitoring equipment, and supporting safe, effective remediation projects. You'll help protect homes and businesses while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections for mold, asbestos, and lead in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Collect accurate environmental samples using specialized equipment.
- Follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines for testing and sampling.
- Generate clear, detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
- Provide onsite support and oversight during mold and asbestos remediation projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist Production Managers with project execution.
- Represent PureDry professionally with clients and partners.
- Maintain company-issued uniforms and a clean, professional appearance.
Qualifications
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with strong teamwork skills.Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 75 lbs.Fluent in reading and writing English.Valid driver's license with clean driving record.AHERA Building Inspector Certification required.Current Asbestos License and Supervisor Card required.1–2 years of environmental sampling experience required.Proficiency with environmental testing equipment.Experience in restoration or construction trades a plus.Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.Schedule & Availability
Monday to FridayOn-call rotations (evenings & weekends)Overtime availableTravel up to 25% (local region)Compensation & Benefits
