LEVEL III Neonatology Locums Job 7 On / 7 Off Schedule In-House Coverage Required Southern California

We are currently seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to provide locum coverage for a respected Level III NICU program. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative care team while supporting a busy labor and delivery service.

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Duration of Coverage : Ongoing assignment

Details / Requirements :

Shift Schedule : 7 days on / 7 days off rotation

Day Shift : 6 : 30AM to 6 : 30PM

Night Shift : 6 : 30PM to 6 : 30AM

In-House Coverage : Provider must remain on-site during shift hours (sleep room provided)

L&D : Approximately 350 deliveries annually (NICU and L&D on same floor)

Attend high-risk deliveries Must be certified and experienced in : Intubations, PICC / Umbilical Lines, Oversight of HFOV and Nitric Oxide, Induced Hypothermia

Assist with ambulance transports as needed (average 1 per month)

Able to stabilize and coordinate transfers for higher-level care when required

Qualifications :

Board Certified in Neonatology

Active state medical license

Comfortable providing full in-house coverage

Strong communication and leadership skills within a multidisciplinary NICU team
