Part-Time Medical Director – Psychiatrist

Location : Bronx, NY (Hybrid)

Schedule : Part-time, 5–10 hours / week, Monday–Friday 9 : 00 am–5 : 00 pm

Salary : $200–$250 / hr

About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Director to oversee and lead psychiatric care for adolescents and adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. This role includes supervising providers, developing clinical policies, implementing training programs, and dedicating most of the time to direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners
• Recruit and retain mission-driven providers
• Develop and enforce policies for medication management, psychotherapy, and telepsychiatry
• Oversee psychiatric documentation and clinical training programs
• Liaise with hospitals and emergency services
• Lead high-risk case reviews and clinical committees

Qualifications

Preferred : Experience with justice-involved populations
