Assistant Professor, Music Education Job at Music Jobs US in Fort Myers

We invite applications for a 9-month, multi-year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Music Education.

The successful candidate will also participate in the development of a proposal for a new Master of Music degree and may teach in a secondary area based on expertise and departmental needs.

Must have a Doctorate in Music Education or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation; completed by start of appointment. Three or more years of successful K-12 teaching required.

Certification and / or proficiency in approaches to general music such as Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze, etc. preferred.
