Electrical Controls / Automation Engineer

Full-Time | Manufacturing | 2 Openings

$100,000 – $115,000 per year + bonus

We're hiring an Electrical Controls Engineer to support key manufacturing operations at two advanced production facilities in Carrollton, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in troubleshooting, optimizing, and programming state-of-the-art automation systems within a high-tech, growth-focused environment. Candidates must have Siemens-specific programming experience to be considered.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine control system issues; recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and quality
  • Develop and modify PLC and HMI applications (Siemens experience required)
  • Participate in the installation, commissioning, and programming of new equipment
  • Design and update schematic drawings using AutoCAD
  • Apply working knowledge of power distribution, networks, drives, and field control devices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operators, technicians, engineers, and plant leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEET also accepted)
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical / automation engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Siemens programming (programming from scratch is a big!)
  • Knowledge of AC / DC circuits, ladder logic, HMI development, and control panel hardware
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Bonus : PMP certification or experience in the wire & cable, automotive, or similar heavy-machinery industries
  • Schedule : M–F, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (flexible as needed)
  • Travel : ~10% (domestic)
  • Relocation : Yes
