WHO YOU ARE :
A detail-oriented professional who is comfortable with the application of state and federal payroll tax regulations and related statutes and discussing complex issues with court and finance professionals. Someone who is ready to excel in a team environment, collaborating with accounting and auditing staff who specialize in working with courts, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals dealing with bankruptcy issues.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Bankruptcy Specialist Accounts Examiner II-IV performs entry-level to highly complex (senior-level) accounts examination work. Work involves examining and auditing operating reports and financial accounting records; and collecting fees, taxes, or penalties. Work involves examining and auditing reports; investigating and reconciling financial accounting records; filing federal bankruptcy claims on parties owing taxes, fees, or penalties to TWC. Works under close to limited supervision, with minimal to considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
