Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift (Germantown MD)

Dean's Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, patient-care-focused Phlebotomist II to work for a Hospital Facility in Germantown, MD.

This role is responsible for performing venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality. The PSR II creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence, delivering high-quality service in alignment with established practices, procedures, and company values. Assignments may include working in a physician's office, patient service center, or other designated locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily collection and processing activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens following established protocols.
• Verify patient demographics and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the presence of patients.
• Maintain required records, documentation, and compliance with all regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient service, fostering trust and maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Support a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and staff.
• Exhibit leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality.
