Operations Supervisor

Salary : $90,000 annually

Bonus : 10%

Location : Vancouver, WA

Schedule : Rotating- M-F 5 : 30 am-3 : 00 pm the 1st, 2nd, and 4th week. The 3rd week will be M-F 9 am until the last driver returns to the site.

A Day in the Life of an Operations Supervisor

Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment

Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing as needed

Develop and execute safety goals

Conduct field inspections and audits

Review customer complaints and resolve issues

Perform performance reviews and coaching

Set short- and long-term goals for the hauling company

Oversee compliance programs (environmental, OSHA, local permitting)

Collaborate with union representatives and manage unionized employees.

This position is safety sensitive

Must Have

Ability to relocate for promotional opportunities

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Experience in transportation / trucking / logistics

Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and business systems skills
