Interiors Designer / Sales Associate

Lakeshore Business Interiors has a full-time opportunity for an experienced and creative Interior Designer / Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and be able to create innovative and functional designs that will meet or exceed the needs of our clients. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other Designers / Sales Associates, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage multiple projects at any given time. This position requires the ability to connect with customers as part of the sales and selection process. Candidates will be responsible for achieving specific sales and margin goals.

This role does not support remote work.

Primary job functions :

• Cultivate strong working relationships with both new and existing clientele.
• Collaborate on commercial interior design projects with clients
• Develop design concepts for clients including space planning, furniture, and finish material selections
• Present design concepts to clients through verbal and graphic communications
• Assist clients with finish material & furniture selections while keeping within specified budget
• Prepare furniture specifications and installation documents for proposed work
• Create drawings and specifications through 2020 Giza interior design program
• Develop designs, specify finishes and prepare accurate cost quotes and estimates
• Develop, create and process purchase orders for items purchased.
• Meet regularly with management as well as other sales team members to review past, present and future projects
