Work Arrangement : Hybrid (On-site with remote flexibility on Fridays)

About the Role

Our client is an early-stage AI company with $6 million in seed funding , building the future of customer research . Their platform uses AI agents to create studies, conduct interviews, and extract meaningful insights, enabling teams to understand their customers faster than traditional methods. The founding team consists of product and technical leaders from Reddit, Twitter, and Nextdoor, emphasizing a strong "product-first" philosophy .

They are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to take on significant product ownership. This is a high-agency, full-stack role where you'll contribute to product definition, engineering, and company culture from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Work across the entire stack , including frontend, backend, and AI.
• Deliver a customer-first product with a strong product and design mindset, constantly iterating based on user insights.
• Engage in core full-stack tasks : web development, API creation, database migrations, and contributing to infrastructure using Terraform .
• Utilize and adapt quickly to modern AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and perform prompt engineering for AI models.
• Take on significant product ownership and help define the team’s culture as an early member.
