Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering individualized nursing care to residents utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to plan and evaluate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive care for residents through all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinating care, conducting assessments, and educating residents on various health-related topics.
• Functioning within the full scope of nursing expertise, while adhering to state and national nursing standards.
• Possibly serving as charge nurse, delegating tasks appropriately to both licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.

We expect our RNs to provide adequate guidance and support to ensure effective and safe care delivery to our residents, thereby maintaining a high standard of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with preference for a Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing for the practice location, or a valid multistate license if applicable.
• Commitment to maintaining required competencies and certifications specific to the role.
