We are excited to be helping our client, a state of the art manufacturer in Liberty, NC , find a Human Resources Assistant to join their growing team! In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting daily HR operations , helping employees thrive, and ensuring the company continues to be a great place to work. As an integral member of the HR team, you'll manage administrative processes, assist with recruiting and on-boarding top talent, maintain accurate employee records, and support employee engagement initiatives. What You'll Do

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate personnel files, HR databases, and records in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processes, attendance tracking, and leave management.

Recruitment & On-boarding

  • Post job openings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews.
  • Support on-boarding activities, including orientation sessions and system setup.
  • Help ensure new team members feel welcomed and set up for success.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist with engagement initiatives and company events to foster a positive workplace
  • culture.
  • Support the HR Manager in employee relations matters as needed.
  • Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure HR practices follow employment laws and internal policies.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and preparation of HR metrics for leadership.
  • Help reinforce the company's Core Values across the organization.
  • General Office Support

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • What You Bring

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or payroll systems a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with HR regulations and employment law basics preferred.
  • Working Conditions

    Full-time, on-site role at our Liberty, North Carolina location. Some flexibility in schedule may be required to support recruitment, on-boarding, or compliance activities.
