We are excited to be helping our client, a state of the art manufacturer in Liberty, NC , find a Human Resources Assistant to join their growing team! In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting daily HR operations , helping employees thrive, and ensuring the company continues to be a great place to work. As an integral member of the HR team, you'll manage administrative processes, assist with recruiting and on-boarding top talent, maintain accurate employee records, and support employee engagement initiatives. What You'll Do
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate personnel files, HR databases, and records in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
- Assist with payroll processes, attendance tracking, and leave management.
Recruitment & On-boarding
Post job openings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews.Support on-boarding activities, including orientation sessions and system setup.Help ensure new team members feel welcomed and set up for success.Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.Assist with engagement initiatives and company events to foster a positive workplaceculture.Support the HR Manager in employee relations matters as needed.Compliance & Reporting
Ensure HR practices follow employment laws and internal policies.Assist with audits, reporting, and preparation of HR metrics for leadership.Help reinforce the company's Core Values across the organization.General Office Support
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team.Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation.Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.What You Bring
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).2–3 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related role preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or payroll systems a plus.High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Familiarity with HR regulations and employment law basics preferred.Working Conditions
Full-time, on-site role at our Liberty, North Carolina location. Some flexibility in schedule may be required to support recruitment, on-boarding, or compliance activities.
