Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) oversees the product development, distribution, marketing, and client management activities of investment offerings for the global wealth management channel. The Partner Engagement role is a key member of the Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) Private Wealth Partnerships team (PWP). PWP manages strategic relationships with AWMS' largest partner firms, including Private Banks, Wirehouses, Independent Broker-Dealers, and Fintech platforms.

This individual will collaborate across Ares business units to align and optimize marketing initiatives tailored to these strategic partner audiences. The role is responsible for identifying new opportunities and enhancing engagement through targeted product marketing, brand amplification, product launches, partner-hosted events, and expanded access to educational resourcesall in support of fundraising and business development goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Partner with the broader PWP team & Marketing to help design and execute partner-firm specific marketing campaigns (ex : launch & ongoing partner-specific campaigns)
  • Manage rules of engagement with partner firms. Establish workflow processes to manage the distribution of marketing engagements. Own the submission & approval processes of educational & sales literature with partner firms. Liaise with product & channel marketing on customizing partner firm materials.
  • In partnership with the Channel and Product Marketing team, ensure partner marketing deliverables are in-line with the broader AWMS marketing strategy. Track and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on those findings, make recommendations on optimizing performance and troubleshooting; define new processes and workflows as needed.
  • Interface with key Wirehouse & IBD clients to identify new opportunities to deepen advisor engagement and increase Ares' brand awareness through personalized and innovative tactics and multi-media campaigns.
  • Support the development of new content in partnership with marketing, sales, private wealth partnerships, and product stakeholders. Be responsible for crafting key partner-specific marketing campaign messages, including post-event call to action messaging, to help drive engagement & product sales.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • 7+ years of alternative / asset management or wealth management experience
  • Skilled in developing high-quality content across formats, with strong writing capabilities
  • Strong project management skills and prioritization skills. Experience leading strategic and tactical marketing initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate assertiveness, initiative, and creativity and to concurrently manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, takes ownership of work quality and tight deadlines, and pursues continuous improvement
  • Highly PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong interpersonal, written / verbal communication, project management skills, and ability to work independently and solve problems
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality, including the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Reporting Relationships : Principal, Private Wealth Partnerships

    Compensation : $180,000 - $210,000
