Position : Med / Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool

Contract Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Float Requirement : Will float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita

EMR : Cerner

Scrub Color : Any color

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780 - $1,910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Strong telemetry skills required

Ability to float between multiple departments and healthcare facilities

Key Responsibilities for Med / Surg Tele RN

Deliver direct patient care using the Nursing Process in compliance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe and effective patient care

Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development

Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience

Provide supervision and guidance to assigned healthcare personnel

Float between designated Tucson healthcare facilities and departments as required
