Air Reserve Technician Position
This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position located in the Transportation Flight of the Logistics Readiness Squadron at an AFRC unit. Purpose of this position is to provide staff assistance / surveillance of transportation expertise and guidance and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
Key duties include :
- Serving as the focal point for all transportation related matters
- Coordinating unit training assembly and annual tour training requirements
- Performing work as the Unit Primary Vehicle Control Officer
- Performing staff assistance visits to determine effectiveness of subordinate vehicle control programs

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.Individual Occupational Requirement : Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education : Major study accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.Specialized Experience Required : Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems.OR Education : Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.OR Combination : A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) : Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and / or competencies in the following areas :For more information click and speak with an Air Force Reserve Recruiter.
