Job Summary : Roofing Repair Mechanic

Location : Lorton, VA (On-Site)

Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Roofing Repair Mechanic to join our service team in Lorton, VA. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for an experienced roofing professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering outstanding service to commercial clients. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing roof repairs across a variety of roofing systems to ensure durable and reliable results.

As a Roofing Repair Mechanic, you will play a vital role in assessing roofing conditions, identifying the cause of leaks or failures, and implementing corrective measures while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. The position requires technical expertise, physical endurance, and excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform roof inspections and repairs on commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, and metal roofs.

Identify issues such as leaks, damage, or membrane failure and determine appropriate repair methods.

Execute repair work safely and efficiently, ensuring long-lasting performance and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

Communicate inspection findings and repair solutions clearly to clients and supervisors.

Maintain detailed records of repair work, materials used, and time spent on each project.

Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and OSHA regulations while on job sites.

Keep tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition and ready for use.

Support team members in completing assigned projects on schedule and within quality standards.

Required Qualifications :

3 to 5 years of commercial roofing repair experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of roof systems repair techniques and materials.

Proficient with common roofing tools and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in varying weather conditions.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Capable of lifting heavy roofing materials and working safely at heights.
