First Line Compliance Analyst

This position is NOT remote or hybrid eligible. This position will work in the Nashville, Knoxville, TN or Birmingham, AL FirstBank office.

Summary : The First Line Compliance Analyst supports the bank's First Line of Defense for compliance. Analyst supports the First Line Compliance Manager and will partner with all segments of the bank to help with the development, implementation, and execution of the institution's first line controls and monitors within the various areas of the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in the execution of the Banking First Line Compliance program.
• Provide support to Specialists to ensure the business units are complying with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform sampling or other quality control testing to demonstrate successful implementation of processes and controls, monitoring of compliance areas, and other initiatives.
• Manage, track, and report the compliance responses to business unit inquiries as applicable.
• Continuously participate in the improvement of operational compliance tools, as well as active involvement in other projects as required.
• Stay up to date on regulatory updates / changes and proactively ensure actions are taken to educate FirstBank associates on the changes and validate that policy and procedures are modified accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned.
