LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care PA in West Virginia!

About The Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia starting Oct 6, 2025. This 80-day opportunity features a rotating schedule of 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday and shorter weekend hours, with a flexible 2 on, 2 off rotation and one weekend per month. The role involves providing urgent care coverage and utilizing the Epic EMR system.

  • Provider Type Needed : Urgent Care Physician Assistant
  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 am – 8 pm; Saturday – Sunday, 9 am – 6 pm; rotation is 2 on, 2 off (modifiable); one weekend per month

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care services for a variety of cases
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute conditions
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
  • Adhere to established protocols and clinical guidelines

    • Additional Information

  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in West Virginia
  • Board certification in Urgent Care required
  • Experience in urgent care settings preferred
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
