Schedule : Sunday Thursday, 11 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM

No On-Call | No Friday or Saturday Shifts

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional patient care, and strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate patient positioning, equipment setup, and image acquisition.

Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and departmental standards.

Maintain detailed patient records, including clinical history and symptoms.

Educate patients on procedures, address questions, and provide compassionate care.

Assist physicians with fluoroscopic and invasive radiological procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure adequate inventory.

Qualifications

Education : Certificate or advanced training in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program; Associate's degree preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of radiography experience required (2 3 years preferred).

Licenses & Certifications :

ARRT Registry in Radiography (or registry-eligible)

NJDEP X-Ray License

Current CPR / BLS certification for healthcare providers

Skills : Proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques and patient care; knowledge of C-Arm operation required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Direct patient care role with potential exposure to body fluids and infectious materials.

Frequent standing, bending, and lifting (up to 25 lbs).

Requires strong visual, auditory, and manual dexterity abilities for patient interaction and equipment use.
