Sr. Outbound Supervisor

Job Summary

This position will help manage and oversee the daily operations of the outbound department. This includes the picking / auditing / shipping processes to ensure on time delivery is being achieved.

Responsibilities

Leadership : Supervising, mentoring, training, managing labor cost, providing feedback and development opportunities.

Continuous Improvement : Monitoring KPI's, identifying and implementing process improvement strategies to improve the operational process flow. Overseeing / monitoring accuracy and efficiency of performance / productive, generating KPI reports, and ensuring compliance / policies are being performed.

Safety : Safety initiatives are being demonstrated daily and utilizing all safety precautions.

Quality : Conducting audits to ensure all processes are being performed.

Overall : Managing the Oracle Department (being able to problem solve, delegate, follow-up, and effectively communicate) WMS for tracking and analysis.

Qualifications

5-10 years in a supervisory role and warehouse experience.

A high school diploma or GED, a college degree preferred, but not required.

Skills

Must have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, WMS proficiency, ability to interpret reports, problem solving, and analytical skills. Organizational and time management skills. Forklift Certification is required.

Typically requires broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline Typically has a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certification and 3 years of prior relevant experience
