The position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in IMC. Charge nurse experience is required. Candidates must have experience with chest tubes and PCA infusions. Bedside monitoring and management of non-titratable drips are essential skills. Knowledge of IV infusions is required. Weekend coverage will be directed based on operational needs. This role involves caring for adults with various diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD / Asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, and ESRD / dialysis. Nurses will be expected to manage patients with hypertension / hypotension and those experiencing ETOH withdrawal. Nurses will also care for patients post-general surgery. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and pharmacy services. Candidates must have strong skills in central line care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and isolation precautions. Candidates must adhere to infection control practices and patient safety protocols. The facility requires all employees to receive the Flu vaccine. Please ensure readiness to provide two supervisory references.
