Job description

Hourly Pay Range :

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights :

  • Position : Registered Nurse, Oncology
  • Location : Kellogg Cancer Center - Highland Park, IL
  • Full Time | 40 hours / week
  • Hours : Monday- Friday 8am-6pm (10 hour shifts)

What you will do :

  • Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center
  • Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
  • Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products
  • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

    • What you will need :

  • Licensure : Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
  • Education : Associate's in Nursing, required . Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred
  • Certification : Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required. OCN / ONS provider card preferred.
  • Experience : Oncology and / or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred .
