JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Outreach Coordinator South (Adult Education)
Hours : Flexible hours but can include weekends and evenings; total 19 hours a week
Pay : commensurate with education and experience with no benefits
Office Location : Clarkesville Campus
Description : Under general supervision the Recruiter will recruit students into the Adult Education program.
Major Duties :
Works with Dean and teachers to recruit in Habersham, Franklin, Stephens, White, and Rabun Counties.
Establishes a working relationship with the public, community, and service delivery organizations / agencies.
Works with Dean to prepare materials appropriate for the intended audience.
Attend fairs, festivals, and events to distribute flyers.
Attend community meetings to distribute information.
Participates in community services and activities in accordance with technical college guidelines.
Provides specific program information through newspaper, radio, television and / or another media advertisement.
Other duties as assigned.
Education : HS Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher preferred

Bachelors degree in education, business administration or a closely related field and Three (3) years of experience in an educational setting. Supervisory experience is required.
