Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Nov 26, 2025. This role features 24-hour call coverage, with shifts from 7am-7am, and includes both in-house and out-of-house coverage for sporadic vacation relief. Job Details Location : California Start Date : Nov 26, 2025 LOA : 4 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 24-hour call, 7am-7am; out-of-house call with 15-30 minute response time; additional OB physician on call during assignment Responsibilities and Duties Respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and urgent cases Conduct patient consults and rounding Provide out-of-house call coverage within the required response window Manage a high-volume obstetrics setting Collaborate with on-site OB team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care Additional Information California medical license required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Experience in a rural setting is preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
